SPECIAL METALS NI-ROD® 44 ERNi-CI .045" Dia Cast Iron Filler Metal comes on a 30 lb spool and is designed for making easily machined welds by automatic as well as semi-automatic processes. Solid wire having tensile strength of 71000 psi is suitable for gas-metal-arc, gas-tungsten-arc and submerged-arc welding of ductile, malleable and gray cast irons. Filler metal supports dissimilar welding applications such as gas-metal-arc welding of cast irons of low-alloy and carbon steels.
