AlcoTec ALMIGWeld® Aluminum MIG Welding Wire of .035" Dia is made of 4043 alloy which is one of the most widely used welding and brazing alloy with silicon as the principle alloying element. Non-heat treatable wire with 1065 to 1170 deg F melting range is preferred by welders as it has silicon additions that provide enhanced fluidity. Wire is less sensitive to weld cracking and produces nearly smut free, bright welds. It obtains gray color when anodized and is associated with ER4043 class of wire. Wire is used in welding as well as spray and flame metallizing applications. Wire with .097 lb/cu.in comes in a drum of 311 lb. It meets ANSI/AWS A5.10 and AMS 4190 standards.
